All of our products are handcrafted in our ceramics studio in Brooklyn at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Our small but mighty team of fabricators individually hand form each piece from clay before air drying each piece for anywhere between 3-14 days. Once dried, each piece is fired twice before carefully packaged for safe transit, in hopes that it may bring warmth and happiness to a home like yours. For any items we don't make ourselves, we partner with local vendors who use the highest quality materials and standards.
Yes. Every SIN piece is made by hand in our Brooklyn studio using traditional ceramic techniques.
Because clay is a natural material and our products are hand-built, slight variations in size, shape, texture, and finish are to be expected. These nuances are not flaws but a reflection of the handcrafted process and the individuality of each piece.
We believe these subtle differences are what give our work its character, warmth, and sense of life. No two pieces are ever exactly alike, and that is very much the point.
Yes! We utilize UPS Worldwide and offer international shipping to select countries. Ship windows do not include order processing time. Shipping options plus quotes are available for estimate at check out. Each country has their own duties tax which is charged upon delivery, and payment responsible by customer. Estimates are not provided for duties as we are not privy to this information and are subject to each individual country.
We offer Free Ground Shipping on orders over $350 within the contiguous United States only. Note: Trade and Wholesale orders are not included.
All our porcelain and stoneware dinnerware products are dishwasher and microwave safe! For our hand-built coil ceramics, we recommend hand wash with clear soap and warm water and setting them out to air dry. For more information on individual products please check out our “Care instructions” tab, listed on each respective product page.

Damp-Rated fixtures are designed for indoor areas where moisture and condensation may be present, such as bathrooms, spa areas, or coastal interiors with high humidity.
Dry-Rated fixtures are intended for indoor spaces where moisture and condensation are not present.
If you’re unsure which rating is appropriate for your space, we recommend consulting a licensed electrician prior to installation.
Yes. All of our hardwired fixtures are dimmable when paired with compatible dimmable bulbs.
Please note that we do not include a wall dimmer or driver unless otherwise specified.
Exceptions:
The Shayd Pendant includes the required dimming component for installation.
The Shayd Table Lamp features an integrated touch dimmer
- Hardwired Pendants: 10' cord. An electrician can shorten the cord during installation if needed.
- Plug-In Pendants: 15' cord.
- Table Lamps: 8' cord.
All fixtures are wired to US electrical standards.

Our lighting is intended for indoor use.
Damp-Rated fixtures may be installed in covered outdoor areas where they are fully protected from direct rain and extreme weather exposure. However, we do not recommend installation in unsheltered outdoor environments or climates with sudden temperature fluctuations, as ceramic can be sensitive to thermal shock.
If you are considering an outdoor installation, please consult a licensed electrician to ensure proper suitability.
