PART-TIME FULFILLMENT COORDINATOR / GENERAL MANAGER
SIN is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Direct-to-Consumer/Wholesale Fulfillment Coordinator and Office Manager to wear all these hats within a fast pace environment. The Fulfillment Coordinator role will maintain all DTC, drop-ship orders, wholesale orders, while managing raw materials, effective stock management and general office upkeep. The right candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, logistical problem solving skills, keen attention to detail and is self-motivated.
+ Maintain order fulfillment for all outbound orders (DTC, drop-ship, wholesale)
+ Maintain order fulfillment for all DTC orders and drop-ship partnerships.
+ QC product inventory.
+ Manage and analyze inventory between wholesale and DTC to ensure correct stock distribution for maximum sales in each division, working collaboratively with Production team.
+ Manage customer service inquiries, status updates, returns, product care and social media orders (Instagram Stories’ Acquisitions)
+ Monitor product performance and production calendar to respond to business opportunities swiftly across DTC/ Drop-Ship channels and Wholesale accounts.
+ Research, evaluate and develop strategies to reduce the cost and volume of packaging materials, identifying areas of cost reduction opportunity
+ Develop internal processes including the set-up of an effective software program that will manage raw materials inventory and costings
+ Order office supplies and maintain general upkeep of studio spaces.
+ Experience in Product Design, Ceramics, Manufacturing or related field is a plus!
+ Pro-active self-starter, strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
+ Professional and positive attitude, aptitude for working with many people and ability to deal with a rapidly shifting workload and job role
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Passionate about home goods, interior design, fashion, gifting – with a strong eye for design is always a plus!
+ Understanding of the economics of the consumer products industry including: quotes, costing, and margins
+ Experience coordinating international and domestic freight
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, Shopify, ShipStation
+ Experience with Streak CRM software is a plus!
We offer 3 different types of unpaid internships for school credit every semester including summer. In order to apply, you must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, and available for a 12-week internship 2-3 days a week. Please be sure you have the ability to live NYC and work in Brooklyn before applying to our internships. We accept 1-2 interns per semester.

SIN's Production intern will assist in all aspects of ceramic creation and maintaining a safe and organized studio space. They will have the opportunity to refine hand-building and glazing techniques and gain valuable first-hand experience in a business production flow.

BUSINESS OPERATIONS + LOGISTICS INTERNSHIP
SIN's Inventory and Shipping Receiving interns help manage inventory, fulfill orders and manage the flow of press and trade samples. They also have the opportunity to evaluate, redesign and implement logistics processes to help workflow. You will also participate in process reviews, staff meetings, and other activities to increase your understanding of the issues and challenges facing logistics and shipping at a small company.
+ Manage inventory count
+ Pack and ship wholesale and DTC orders
+ Assist with a press sample pick-ups and receiving
+ Track levels of supplies and notifying the manager when we need to re-order
+ Assist with customer care
+ Self-starter able to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment
+ Highly organized
+ Great time-management skills
+ Familiarity with ShipStation is a plus
+ Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
SALES + MARKETING INTERNSHIP
SIN's Sales and Marketing intern identifies sales opportunities, assists in client meetings, tracks trends, and collaborates on marketing initiatives — all while learning about the inner workings of small businesses and developing skills for careers in sales and marketing.
+ Gather marketing research, inspiration, and ideas
+ Help with trade and buyer outreach
+ Research marketing trends and new releases
+ Assist in the planning of our sales and marketing calendar
+ Support the sales and marketing director in daily administrative tasks
+ Help distribute marketing materials
+ Manage and update the companies database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
+ Help plan trade show and marketing events
+ Write your own blog posts for SIN in the Wild
+ Strong desire to learn about digital marketing or e-commerce
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Knowledge of MS Office, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Ads Manager
+ Familiarity or willingness to learn marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. Hubspot, Iconosquare and Google Adwords)
